General areas covered - mileage Service Area & Availability As a general guideline, we cover a 10-mile radius from the TQ12 4AU area. While we do travel further, please be aware that there may be an additional charge for time and fuel if your location falls outside this range. Please note that only certain services are available on a mobile basis, though all services are available at our studio. Collection and Drop Off Vehicle Collection & Delivery Service We may be able to collect and return your vehicle (excluding motorbikes), though please note that this service is not as readily available as it once was. Please check with us first to confirm availability. A small additional charge will apply for travel time and expenses. Additionally, while some services are available on a mobile basis, all services are fully available at our studio for your convenience. Payment of remaining balance Payment Terms A deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the service. We kindly request that the balance is settled as promptly as possible (preferably immediately). If payment is not received and an invoice is issued, it must be paid within 7 days. After this period, a 10% charge may be added to the outstanding amount. Invoices will include payment details and the due date. If payment has not been made within the due period, payment reminders will incur a £7 late payment fee for each reminder sent. If payment remains outstanding after the service has been completed, TidyRide reserves the right to charge the same payment method used for the deposit. Vehicle Preparation: Please ensure your vehicle is ready for the appointment, clear of any obstructions such as child seats or personal items. Mobile Service: We will arrive as scheduled even if the weather is forecast to be unfavourable, unless we notify you otherwise. If the weather conditions make the work impossible, we can arrange to collect the vehicle and bring it to the studio for service. Studio Service: Please leave your vehicle as agreed. There is no customer waiting area on-site, but if you’re having a short service, you are welcome to take a short walk into town while we complete the work. We aim to provide a smooth and convenient experience for you, whether you choose our mobile or studio service. Cancellation / Postponement At TidyRide, we understand that plans can change. If you need to modify your booking, please notify us as soon as possible so we can accommodate your request. The sooner we are informed, the more flexibility we have in rescheduling your appointment. Rescheduling & Deposit Policy • Deposits are non-refundable if a booking is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 72 hours’ notice. • If you need to postpone your appointment and provide at least 72 hours’ notice, your deposit will be carried over to your rescheduled date. • If TidyRide needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason, your deposit will be either carried over or refunded. Cancellation & Rescheduling Fees • More than 72 hours’ notice: No fee, deposit is carried over. • 24-72 hours’ notice: £10 rescheduling fee, deposit is carried over. • Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows: deposit is forfeited. Vehicle condition & safety Vehicle Care and Risk Management Modern vehicles are constructed with a range of delicate materials and sensitive electronics. To ensure the best care for your vehicle, please inform us of any fragile areas, such as broken clips, freshly painted panels, refurbished wheels, or damaged seals, before the service begins. This allows us to take the necessary precautions to prevent any accidental damage. If we are carrying out an engine bay clean, please note that older vehicles may have a higher risk of damage to electronic components. While we take all possible precautions, services such as this are performed at the owner’s risk. To ensure thorough documentation, we may conduct a walk-around check and take photos before the service begins. This helps us capture the condition of your vehicle prior to any work being carried out. Your vehicle’s safety and care are our priority—please help us provide the best service by highlighting any areas of concern. TidyRide Product Returns Policy This returns policy applies to products purchased from our online store only. We offer two standard types of machine polishing services, which are much more comprehensive than a simple “machine buff” or “mop.” Incorrectly performed, these can often lead to poor results.
