PAINT ENHANCEMENT & CORRECTION These machine polishing services are designed for cars with swirls, scratches, bird lime etchings and oxidised paintwork. Our inspections prior to bookings can confirm what may or may not be achievable. A high degree of skill and time is needed to carry out work to a high standard. ​ Multiple paint depth readings are taken from each panel of the vehicle to ascertain the degree of correction that is achievable and also what pad and compound combinations can be used including various machines, combining and managing your expectations and what's achievable with your vehicles paintwork ​ We offer two standard types of machine polishing services, both are much more in depth than a simple “machine buff” or “mop” - which can often lead to poor results if done incorrectly! ENHANCEMENT DETAIL An Enhancement Detail usually consists of a single stage machine polish. Improving on the finish of the paintwork, removing fine scratches, swirl marks and defects at around a 50-60% correction rate. This often takes around 1-2 days to complete. Prices start at £275 CORRECTION DETAIL A Correction Detail takes this step further. Often involving multiple stages of machine polishing, wet sanding for an improved result.
